Our History

Grace Chapel began as an outreach to children by a school teacher named Anna Rhett Holladay. She and her mother went throughout the community on Sunday afternoons to pick up children and bring them to the Oakdale School for Bible lessons. Interest grew among adults as well and Grace Chapel was created. To this day, we exist to help people find and follow Jesus. We are in a season of renewed passion and commitment to worshipping God, investing in children and youth, growing deeper in His word and equipping people to engage and serve others.

Grace Chapel is a place where you'll be welcomed, encouraged and befriended before you leave. We look forward to meeting you.

Leadership
We're thankful to have an amazing group of people who serve in various leadership roles at Grace Chapel. Each one pours hours of time every week to provide community, resources or use their gifts that God has provided. Please visit our leadership page to learn more. We are currently rebuilding our general ministries area and hope to have it live soon!

Our Beliefs
The One True God
There is only one living and true God, revealed in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, took the punishment humans deserve in his death on the Cross, was raised from the dead on the third day, and ascended bodily to heaven. He will bodily and visibly return to earth one day.

The Holy Spirit
Equal in substance and majesty with the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is the presence of God on earth today

Salvation
The gift of deliverance from God's judgment, and a restored relationship with God, received by faith without any work to earn it

The Bible
The inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, the final authority for the believers faith and life, and the standard for truth

The Church
The spiritual body of Jesus Christ on earth, made up of any and all who have genuinely turned to Christ in repentance and faith
